It may be a good idea to start of by saying that we have not been able to see our living room floor since the middle of May. We can usually determine the "busy-ness" of our lives by how well we can see the floor in the most used room in our home. It could appear to anyone that our (everyones) lives are messy when we step back and look at them. As Christians we must hold on to the fact that although it seems messy, God is taking that mess and helping write the current chapter and even preparing us for the next one.
Prayer is such an important part of life. I have never been more certain of this than over the past 8 months. Meghan and I have seen God working in us, for us and through us in ways that we couldn't have done on our own. I still have days when I want to see everything neatly laid out in front of me. Its predictable, its comfortable and I think it would make me more willing to do the work ahead of me. Knowing everything and being able to see where something is going neglects one thing though: community with the Creator.
